![]() With that said, there is something on your end that's causing the inconsistant FPS causing your stuttering. On the GTX980 machine (a little better than yours) I can run FS 2 on full ultra and SS 1.25 with NO studdering at all and 90FPS maintained in both SteamVR and Oculus Mode. I test on two PC's, on one I have an i7 with GTX 1080 GPU and 32 GB memory and the other I use an i7 with GTX980 and 16Gb memory, both in VR and 2D standard. Just because you are experiencing studdering doesn't mean that ipacs is not coding FS 2 properly, it means that you need to make some adjustments to your configuration, and to do that there are a lot of prople on this forum willing to take time to help you, including myself. Also, are you playing in Other (Oculus) VR mode or Steam VR mode? The GTX 980m mobile GPU is also not that good for VR and before Oculus and Vive began offering "fill-in" solutions for lesser GPU's the 980m wasn't even on the minimum GPU list for VR. There are many factors that will cause performance issues like you mention but without knowing your complete configuration, including your in-game settings, the NVidia GPU driver version, PC memory, NVidia control panel settings, etc. So when will you the developement team finally get this addressed or offer me a proper solution to get this stuttering issue fixed? thx None of my other games stutter at all so i am left to believe its Fs aerofly 2 not being codeed properly still to eliminate stuttering. honestly vsync off still has stuttering going on. please fix this or offer a remedy outside of what is posted under Pinned: performance issues because that isn't a very good solution to run this sim with the vsync turned off with screen tearing. This has been a pronounced problem with stutters for quite some time now. I find your sim to be unplayable the way it is and would like to know when stutter problem that most are experiencing will be fixed. When will we have a fix for this? I used to be able to iron out most of the stutters with turning the clouds off and using nvidia inspector to lock framerates but now no luck with that at all. No matter what i do there is stuttering going on which breaks immersion. ![]() I have an MSI GT80 gtx980m video card with 3.6 gig clock laptop with clean install latest nvidia driver and also clean install Fs Aerofly 2. ![]()
